IRA's and HSA's

Self Directed IRA's

The IRS tax code allows certain self-managed activities on IRA's where the Bank acts as the trustee of the IRA, however, the IRA beneficiary can elect to instruct the trustee to acquire and hold certain assets inside of the IRA. Examples may be farmland, rental property, or stocks and bonds. A unique feature of self-directed IRA's is the requirement that the trustee is the actual agent transacting the business for the beneficiary. Contact Farmers State Bank Trust Services for more information on how you can creatively invest IRA funds.
